What an incredible journey it's been! 💜♻️

Over the last six weeks, the amazing pupils and Eco Leaders at Nottingham Primary Academy have shown what's possible when a whole school comes together around a shared challenge.

Together, they collected over 10,500 bottle tops, learned how plastic is identified, sorted and recycled, visited Future Makers to experience the manufacturing process first-hand, and helped create two permanent recycled plastic planters for their school!

More importantly, they discovered that plastic isn't simply something we throw away, it's a valuable material with the potential for a new life.

A huge thank you to everyone who made Plastic Revolution possible, especially The Worshipful Company of Horners, Greenwood Academies Trust, the wonderful staff and pupils at Nottingham Primary Academy and all the families and community members who got involved.

The planters now stand proudly at the school as a lasting reminder of what can happen when education, industry and communities come together. 💚

This is just the beginning.

Yesterday at Interplas, one question kept coming up:

**How do we inspire the next generation to engage with plastics differently?**

Through the Plastic Revolution, we’ve seen what happens when young people can collect, sort, shred and transform plastic into something useful for their school, campus or community.

Plastic stops being something they throw away.

It becomes something they understand, value and take ownership of.

From primary schools and colleges to universities and industry partners, we’re helping make circularity visible through creativity, participation and hands-on transformation.

Thanks to everyone who joined the conversation at Interplas and to the Worshipful Company of Horners for supporting the next phase of the Plastic Revolution.

We already have schools ready to take part.

Now we’re looking for more partners who want to help inspire the next generation and create positive stories around plastic.

The future of circularity depends on participation. Get in touch today: [email protected]

We work with post-use inflatables and event materials, transferring them into design led products such as bags, pouches, sacks, and other functional branded assets.♻️

This provides a practical circular solution for inflatable companies, event producers and experiential brands working with large scale temporary materials.

Rather than disposal or downcycling, we transform these materials into long lasting usable products that retain brand value.

If you work with inflatable or event materials and are exploring circular solutions, we’d love to connect!

A curated palette of circular sheet materials for design, architecture and fabrication.

FM Sheet Material is a range of recycled plastic sheets created in Nottingham, transforming post-consumer and post-industrial plastic streams into high-performance materials for contemporary design.

Each material has its own origin, composition and visual identity, from industrial offcuts to kerbside collections, event carpet and marine plastics.

Current material streams:
Urban Confetti
Marble Carpet
Ocean (Waterhaul)
ReRetail (Blue, Blue & Red, Red)
Coffee Husk Blend

What would you design with these materials?

👉 We’re open to conversations and sample requests.

We loved being part of FUTUREPROOF 2026!

Tristan took the stage to explain how we help businesses keep plastic materials in circulation and turn them into long-life, designer products, creating real environmental and commercial impact. ♻️✨

Huge thanks to the panel host Jonny Burke, our fellow panellists, the sponsors and Broadway Cinema for an inspiring day of discussions and ideas.
