Seeking a skilled ๐จ๐ฝ๐ต๐ผ๐น๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ to join our fantastic Team of Crafts People here In Long Eaton. Youโll be responsible for preparing materials, operating the Lectra cutting machine, and ensuring all fabric is cut accurately and efficiently. Youโll work closely with the Production Manager and wider team to keep workflow smooth, meet daily targets, and maintain our high standards of quality and safety.

โข Operating the Lectra cutting machine to cut fabric accurately to specification.
โข Selecting the correct cutting patterns and ensuring the machine is aligned and set correctly.
โข Preparing fabric rolls, measuring materials, and ensuring correct fabric selection for each job
โข Inspect materials before and after cutting to ensure quality standards are met.
โข Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
โข Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
โข Work proactively and at pace to meet daily production targets
โข Report any issues or discrepancies in materials or equipment to the supervisor.

โข Strong attention to detail and accuracy when checking orders and inspecting materials.
โข Experience operating a Lectra cutting machine or similar automated cutting equipment
โข Ability to work at pace while maintaining high quality standards.
โข Good communication skills and a positive, teamโfocused approach.
โข Experience in a manufacturing, upholstery, or textiles environment is advantageous.
Salary: ยฃ12.71 - ยฃ15ph (subject to experience)
