Worcester Bosch Boilers

If you have a Worcester Bosch boiler, please ensure it is serviced annually. More importantly, I advise a full strip down service every 5 years because the burner seals on several models are prone to perishing and letting products of combusting circulate within the boiler.

I have had to turn off several Worcester boilers recently because they are unsafe.

Customers are then left with no heating and hot water until I can find time to return and repair the boiler.

It's been a busy start to 2025 with lots of new boilers being fitted. Some had been booked in for a while whilst others were urgent replacements due to the existing boiler breaking down.

Just because someone is Gas Safe registered, doesn't mean they do a good job unfortunately.

This was my first job of the day. Flue seal not fitted correctly and flue not sealed. The boiler dangerous was turned off until rectification work is carried out.

The rest of the installation wasn't much better. Incorrect size pipes and pipes not sealed. What's mess!

If you need a gas engineer, try and use someone a friend or family member has used before and recommends.
