Notts over 60s took on Middlesex over 60s in a national semi final Papplewick and Linby Cricket Club

Notts set 221 from their 45 overs, a respectable total but knew it would be a tough defence against a very strong Middlesex side.

Middlesex were 55-2 from 15 overs leaving them 6 an over from the remaining 30. Captain Michael Jadunath and Jonathan Croft steadied the ship and saw the side home with the skipper remaining on an unbeaten 63.

Great game of cricket on a lovely ground, good luck Middlesex in the final!

Today is a very special day for the B3 family as Paul Blatherwick marries Louise. ❤️

If you’re visiting the B3 showroom today or tomorrow morning, please bear with us, we’re a little short-staffed while we celebrate with them.

Last night, the groom stayed at his brother Michael’s, and, in true Blatherwick fashion, the eve of the wedding meant a barbecue and a game of backyard cricket. The star of the evening was Paul’s youngest son, nine-year-old Henry, who had everyone hopping with some seriously quick bowling on a lively wicket!

Paul’s eldest son, Jack, couldn’t be there as he was playing yesterday for Lancs CCC against Notts CCC. He did however, send his dad the perfect early wedding present with a few runs and four wickets.

Congratulations to Paul and Louise. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together. 🥂❤️
