Work includes fire doors AND general joinery (doors, skirting, kitchens, refurb works etc.) across Nottingham.

🕗 37.5 hours per week (8am–4pm)
🚐 Van provided
🛠️ Tools / kit provided
📚 Training provided
💷 Good salary (based on experience)

It was a pleasure to transform the Players’ Lounge at Nottingham Tennis Centre, creating a refreshed, modern space for athletes and staff to relax and prepare during tournaments and training periods.

• Strip out of existing finishes
• Internal refurbishment and redecoration
• Upgraded flooring and finishes
• Lighting and electrical improvements
• Final detailing and handover ready for use

Safety works delivered, Nottingham’s most important historical buildings to mitigate risk, protect the public, and preserve key city assets.

Works were carefully phased and, where required, undertaken out of hours to minimise disruption within the city centre.

Scope of Works

• Emergency and planned safety interventions
• Temporary protection and making-safe works
• Structural stabilisation measures
• Controlled access management
• Coordination within live public environments
• Compliance with heritage and conservation constraints

Project Overview

Following vacancy and attempted unauthorised access, the former business centre required immediate security upgrades to protect the building and prevent further vandalism.

Scope of Works

• Full inspection of vulnerable entry points
• Installation of steel security doors
• Heavy-duty boarding to windows and glazing
• Reinforcement of access points
• Securing of perimeter and service entries
• Site left secure and weather-tight

✔ Building secured against further intrusion
✔ Reduced risk of damage and anti-social behaviour
✔ Asset protected pending future redevelopment
