Exciting news📰 MAYDS are delighted to announce that work has finally begun on our phased skate park project. After spending a couple of years struggling to get the full funding and support needed to demolish the old buildings we are happy to announce the local Achruiach Windfarm Fund has funded a significant part of the costs quoted. In addition some local builders have also joined forces to support our charity and for community benefit to do the job for the funds we have from the Windfarm. This is a huge relief as we have been struggling for some time to get funding for the full cost needed, hence the delay in moving forward. These local builders have gone out their way to support us by doing work in kind reducing costs etc., so that we can now move forward with our planned development. So a huge thanks to A and C Building Contractors, M. Kerr roofing and Kenneth James construction Ltd we are so grateful you have stepped in to support the young people of Mid Argyll in finally allowing their vision to progress. Again thanks to Achruiach Windfarm also for their continued support.
