We get asked a lot, when’s the best time to start a build up here in Argyll? Honestly? Right now 🙌

June gives us everything we want; decent weather, long daylight hours and enough runway to make serious progress before the seasons turn. Groundworks done in spring, walls going up through summer, that’s the dream timeline for any project.

Autumn can still work well for interior and finishing work. Winter? We’re used to it, but it’s not ideal for getting a build off the ground.

Current project: Isle of Tiree 🏗️

A look at one of our current new build projects taking shape on the beautiful Isle of Tiree.

This build features 150mm Scotlarch external wall cladding with a rainscreen profile and wire brush finish, factory coated with SiOO Original for a durable, natural-looking finish that will weather beautifully over time.

Inside, the first fix plumbing and underfloor heating installation are now complete, with everything prepared and ready for the finish floor screed.

Plenty more progress still to come on this one.
