We’re inviting all golfers to join us for a fantastic day of golf, competition, and fundraising at Glencruitten Golf Club. Members go free – £30 per team for non-members. Grab a partner and message us to sign up your pair, along with your preferred start time.

Today we received planning approval for our new workshop at our new yard in Millpark. 🎉

The purpose built workshop will allow us to continue to grow the business utilising our unique timber frame (patent pending) and further develop our modular construction option over the coming years.

It will also provide us with facilities in house to continue our research and development work with Robert Gordon University on our insulation projects.

We have been working towards this for a while now and are looking forward to exciting times ahead.

Some fantastic work done between ourselves and Robert Gordon University looking at using waste plastic as insulation for buildings and homes.
The research has thrown up some exciting developments which will further enhance the project and our business progression.
The project has been part funded by the Scottish funding council.

🎉🎉 We are delighted to announce that we have entered into a partnership agreement with Robert Gordon University.🎉🎉

The research and development project will look at using waste plastic as insulation in the built environment.

By utilising a circular economy approach to waste plastic we can help deliver a more sustainable future.

We have been working on this and our innovative timber frame system🤫for a while now and are excited about getting this under way.

Due to the large number of enquiries we have had on the back of our earlier post I thought it would be best to share some more information on the modular units.
The standard unit shown today is 6.3m x 3.2m and easily fits a double bed and has a large en-suite shower room. These will be approx £25,000 dependent on the internal and external finish chosen. The pictures below showcase how the units can be joined together to provide a larger living space.
All of our units are built using the same techniques and materials and to the same specifications as a modern house with high levels of insulation and air tightness. Over the next couple of months we will be constructing units of different styles, sizes and finishes.
It is our vision that the modular units can help with the affordable housing crisis and by joining units together we will be able to create stylish and affordable homes that can be adapted to suit a wide range of needs.

Exciting week ahead.
We have 6 of our modular units heading for the Loch Melfort Hotel to be used as staff accommodation. 4 of the units are en-suite double rooms with the remaining 2 being combined to form a managers home with en-suite double room and kitchen/lounge area.

Modular units can be the the solution to a lot of housing problems that our area faces. Both as short term accommodation and adaptable family homes. Built to the same spec as houses these units are designed to be energy efficient and affordable.
