Valued at £3.5M per year, the multi-year agreement covers comprehensive inspection, maintenance, and repair services across two major offshore windfarm sites.

Under the terms of the agreement, Granada’s highly trained offshore engineering teams will deliver statutory inspections, preventative maintenance, and rapid-response breakdown services for all critical lifting equipment. This includes platform cranes and davits ensuring maximum uptime and safety across the massive wind energy installations.

The contract underscores Granada’s ongoing commitment to the renewable energy sector and highlights the company’s specialised expertise in managing complex offshore lifting operations in harsh marine environments.

Over two days, Granada Cranes management, staff and engineers came together recently as part of our continued commitment towards Safety.

Discussing a wide variety of safety topics, the focus was to continue the building of our positive and proactive safety culture, improving, and embedding our safety arrangements and best practice ways of working.

Specifically, driven by our frontline engineers over the last six months, the Granada team developed our life-saving behaviours, when facing our most significant hazardous activities, setting our expectations as to how we protect ourselves every day, culminating in a group ‘Sign On’ of our final Life-Saving Behaviours.
