We are looking for four people to train as Injection Mould Tool Setters. This is a three year training programme. The training will be be underpinned with formal training given off-site which includes travel with overnight stays (three nights).

About the role:
An injection mould tool setter has responsibility for the efficient changes and setting of the tools and equipment to make the required products.
This involves changing the injection mould tool; appropriate equipment (water systems, grinders, robots etc.);material management; troubleshooting and process optimisation. You will ensure that machines in your repsective area are operated to an acceptable standard and within the set target and costed cycle team.
You will deliver the agreed manufacturing targets through understanding the works order expectations, co-ordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures in line with agreements, policies and business derivatives. Ensuring we operate within a safe, clean, organised and efficient manner at all times.
Teamwork and good communciation are essential. You must be comfortable with responsibility and aim to get things done right first time.
About you:
Our ideal candidates will have completed a two year engineering course or have alternative experience.
You need good communication skills with the ability to work unsupervised. Being able to problem solve, working effectively to resolve any issues without impacting the production levels is an essential part of the role.
As the underpinning training will be delivered in blocks off-site, you must be able to travel when required with nights out.
