🙌 Proud to Deliver Father Mallon Park for Loch Mhic Ruairí GFC
Fox Building & Engineering Ltd are proud to have played a key role in the development of Father Mallon Park, Loughmacrory, for Loch Mhic Ruairí GFC.
Our involvement began in late 2022 with the removal of the existing banks.
From those early works, the club’s ambition, leadership and determination helped shape the project into what is now a first class sporting and community facility.
The completed development includes:
• A new club building with changing rooms, meeting rooms, stores and viewing area
• A new spectator stand
• A new men’s shed and store
• A new walking track
• New car parking facilities
• Landscaped areas and external works
• A new sand-mattress playing pitch, with a playing area of 143m x 88m plus margins
• New Musco 350 lux sports lighting
• Spectator fencing, ballstops, goals and dug out
• Site services and associated infrastructure
This project was about much more than construction. It is about creating a facility that will support players, coaches, volunteers, families, supporters and the wider Loughmacrory community for generations to come. It was about delivering a facility that matched the ambition of club and community.
We would like to sincerely thank the Chairman and Committee of Loch Mhic Ruairí GFC for entrusting Fox Building & Engineering with the delivery of these works.
We also want to acknowledge the many local volunteers whose time, effort and commitment helped make the vision a reality.
A special thank you also goes to St Teresa’s Primary School for inviting us to speak with the pupils and for allowing the children to visit the works during construction. It was a privilege to show the next generation how a project like this comes together.
