While we’ll always appreciate the cosiness of inglenook fires and timber beams, the modern pub is becoming more inclusive, flexible, and multifunctional – transforming into vibrant “third spaces” that bridge home and work life.

As online shopping continues to impact the high street, city centres are seeing a rise in repurposed retail units. Former banks, department stores and shops are being converted into creative pub spaces, particularly in areas undergoing regeneration.
