I just want to say thank you to everyone that has reached out to us either on here or in the shop and shown us such amazing support.
We have had so many people in the shop today offering to pay in advance which we really appreciate BUT I would like to make it clear that we will only ask for pre payment if we feel that something is ‘off’.
It is an unfortunate truth that the recent actions are (we believe) to be mostly connected to a linked group of people.
Please continue to put fuel in your vehicles and pay afterwards unless we ask otherwise.

So - I really did not want to put this out there BUT in the last 2 weeks we have had 3 large ‘drive offs’ and 2 very large ‘No Means To Pay’ totalling almost £500. A ‘No Means To Pay’ is when a customer puts fuel in and comes into the shop with no way of paying. These last 2 ‘No Means To Pay’ were clearly deliberate thefts without technically driving off. All of these incidents included false plates and false personal details given.
Going forward I have no other choice but to implement forecourt signage that will state that unless the customer is known to the staff then they will have to pre pay for fuel. If the customer then attempts to put more fuel in than they have paid for the pumps will be shut off.
This is going to be a stressful process as not all staff know all regular and local customers.
I am asking you to please not be offended if you are asked to do this. We value our customers so very much but also have to protect our business going forward.
I hope you all understand and will bare with us while we try to get this recent spike in thefts under control.

Due to an incident that happened today (and has happened before) we will now be limiting customers filling fuel cans with both diesel and petrol to 30 litres only unless pre-authorised by our staff.
If any of our staff see anyone filling above 30 litres without pre-authorisation all pumps will automatically shut down.

Just to make this clear.
We will not sell ‘energy drinks’ to anyone under 16 or appearing to be under 16 without legal id.
So while your kids are out and about this summer holidays please make them aware of this and at the same time please make them aware that I will not tolerate abuse and name calling of any of our staff when they uphold our policy!

Well - Proedge have knocked it out of the park for us yet again💙
In just a few days they have transformed our scruffy roadside into an immaculate, clean and smart area. They have also put in a new drainage system so that we will no longer have that annoying puddle on pump 1 every time it rains.
These guys are not only exceptional at what they do but the whole team are so polite, professional, hardworking and just lovely people.
They have even been pumping fuel for our customers to help out!
We are proud to have them as very much a part of our Bloom & Wake family 🥰
We now have all pumps open and back to normal.
Sorry for any inconvenience this work has caused but hope you will all agree that it has been worth it.
