Rendering Witney one house at a time!

Another transformation completed on Burford Road, the third property we’ve had the pleasure of working on there this year.

We worked on the extension of this property, applying brilliant white monocouche render in colour ‘OZE Neige’, bringing this extension back to life after going over the old failed sand & cement render where paint had heavily flaked away in places (swipe for before photos).

To keep the character of the property consistent, we rendered below the drip bead using PRB’s SE Gris, giving the traditional sand & cement appearance while benefiting from a modern rendering system.

A clean, fresh finish that completely lifts the rear of the property 👍🏼

Internal plastering is one of the most important stages in any renovation….

Once the first fix electrics and plumbing are complete, we come in to straighten walls, level ceilings, and create a smooth surface ready for decorating.

A good plaster finish doesn’t just make a room look clean.. it improves durability, helps protect surfaces, and sets the standard for every stage that follows, from painting to final fittings.

Here’s the team skimming this ceiling to get it perfectly flat and ready for the next phase of the renovation.

We first started this project over two years ago, working through the intricate internal plastering of a truly unique home. With its angles, beams, and architectural detail, every surface demanded time, precision, and a real appreciation for the design.

Recently, we were lucky enough to return after the decorating had been done, and seeing it all come together like this makes it even more special.

A lot of care went into respecting the vision of the space, keeping lines sharp and finishes clean across some seriously challenging details.

Swipe for before 👉

The client was concerned about potential water ingress through the existing bradstone, so we put together a plan to both protect the wall with a full render system and enhance the overall appearance of this property.

We started by applying an anti fungicidal treatment to the bradstone, then thoroughly scrubbed back the algae with a wire brush before jet washing the area. Once fully prepared, we applied a primer to stabilise the surface.

After this had cured, we installed a reinforced backing coat with mesh embedded throughout, doubling up on all likely fracture points for added strength and longevity. To finish, we applied in the ever popular shade “Corinthe”, keeping everything in line with the classic cotswold aesthetic.

We had some aftercare treatment left over from another project, so we gifted this to the client, adding an additional water repellent later to the finished render! Peace of mind, sunshine and a clean and tidy finish = happy customers! Onto the next one ☀️
