e are thrilled to announce that Savvy Group’s Trinity College Kitchen project has been highly commended at the Oxford Preservation Trust Awards.

Located at the prestigious Trinity College, the project involved the demolition of the existing kitchen, excavation in sandy terrain, and the careful propping and retention of 18th-century historic walls. Delivered in a live operational environment with restricted access on all sides and without the use of cranes, the works required precision and innovative engineering.

The result is a contemporary two-storey kitchen complex seamlessly integrated with the listed building, alongside the full refurbishment of the dining hall and Senior Common Room. The development ensures the facility meets 21st-century standards while preserving its architectural integrity.

We extend our congratulations to the entire project team for this accolade.

Savvy Construction has successfully completed a rare project to transform a 17th-century tithe barn at Yarnton Manor into a new theological library. Commissioned by the owners, U.S.-based Lanier Foundation, following our recent restoration of the main manor house, this carefully executed conversion sits adjacent to the manor and now serves as a world-class educational centre.
The facility is set to become a leading resource for theological study, offering access to an extensive collection of texts, courses, and academic material for students affiliated with Wycliffe Hall, Oxford. View more pictures here https://lnkd.in/e39uiuyY

It was an honour to be invited by The Branch Trust in Chipping Norton to meet HRH The Duke of Edinburgh yesterday. Savvy Group recently completed the renovation and extension of this incredible building in Chipping Norton which has been developed to help vulnerable and underprivileged people in the town and surrounding rural communities. The Branch kindly asked Site Manager Gary Webb to attend in recognition of all his hard work and success in delivering what was a complex project. Well done Gary and everyone at the Branch. 👏 pics by

Construction of the new accommodation block at Heythrop Park has reached a key milestone with the timber frame complete and the roof now on. Internal works are now well underway with screeding complete and first-fix operations ongoing. We look forward to the early new year with steelwork being erected to the link buildings which will form the carcass of the new corridors, connecting the new accommodation block to the existing estate.
