Check out our Apprentice Buyer Ava getting hands-on experience! Our Contracts Manager took Ava to see construction beyond the commercial side of the business.

It was an invaluable opportunity for Ava to witness the operational side and understand the products she sources for the business. She gained first-hand insight into the knock-on effect of delays or incorrect orders.

This experience also enabled Ava to familiarise herself with the materials she procures daily, enhancing her understanding of their uses and importance to site. 🏗️

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY CITY GATE CONSTRUCTION! 🎉🙌🏼🤩

Yesterday, 25th February marks the remarkable 21 year journey of CGC, and as we celebrate this milestone, we want to express great gratitude to our fantastic staff for all their incredibly hard work through the years.

From our offices and sites down South to those in Scotland, each and every employee has played a crucial role in our success. We can't thank you enough for the hard work you put in day in, day out and this birthday celebration would not be possible without each and every single one of you.

As we celebrate our 21st birthday, we eagerly anticipate the future and the amazing achievements that lie ahead for CGC.

City Gate Construction recently completed works at Lagoon Leisure Centre for client Renfrewshire Council.

The team moved a modular unit from this area which left the carpark needing revamped. The old foundations of the carpark were dug up, a type one base was laid and drains were all relined. New tar was laid where required and the entire carpark was lined for completion.
