At the beginning of 2026 our Director and my amazing wife Gillian was diagnosed with breast cancer and is currently going through her treatment plan. Two new vans added to the fleet today for our new engineers starting with us and off to get wrapped and racking fitted before being handed over to the guys. Top spec vans are all we order as the van is the engineers office for the day so we want our guys travelling between jobs as comfortable as possible.

2026 has already brought in some new changes for us here at Clan. We have now added two more engineers to the roster and will be adding an apprentice this summer to build for the future.

To top it all off we have promoted our senior engineer Paul McSherry to become our Engineering Director to assist with the day to day duties of assisting our engineers give the best service possible to our clients.

The start of 2026 has been challenging thus far with huge amounts of workload and adding a couple of new contracts to the client list but with more structure in place and adding valuable members of the team to our “Clan” then the skies the limit this year. With a very strong skilled engineering team on the road and more organisation in the background we’re excited about the year ahead.

When things go wrong on site our engineer threw up the “Clan Signal” and 20 minutes later help arrived with some parts from the store to help get our client up and running. Failure wasn’t an option today so our engineer pulled out all the stops to get this job completed and the kitchen is now at full capacity awaiting a busy weekend ahead.

4am and it’s home time after all gas appliances stripped down and injectors, burners and Venturis all cleaned out out along with full gantry rewire so our client is ready for the busy Xmas period coming up.
