Using a combined sprayer and chipper unit, the team applies a hot binder coat followed immediately by a layer of pre-coated chippings. Job Vacancy: Sweeper Driver – Seasonal (Surface Dressing)

Location: Various UK Sites | Company: Hazell & Jefferies Ltd

Hazell & Jefferies Ltd are looking for a reliable and motivated Sweeper Driver to join our team for the upcoming surface dressing season (Apr-Sep).

This is a seasonal position with the opportunity for a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operating a road sweeper to support surface dressing works across various sites.
• Ensuring the vehicle is maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition.
• Working closely with site teams to ensure roads are properly prepared and cleaned.
• Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Requirements:
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
• CSCS Card.
• Willingness to work away from home for extended periods throughout the season.
• Flexibility regarding working hours, including early starts and occasional weekends.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
