Job Description
You will be required to work alongside other members of the team following direct instructions from the company owners and can follow Health & Safety rules and regulations. The role has various required skills including but not limited to –
• Assist in the preparation of sites by levelling and necessary requirements
• Assist with laying, raking and rolling surfacing materials
• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials
• General labouring tasks as directed such as laying cones, signs, barriers etc
• Cleaning and maintenance of tools, plant and vehicles
• Laying kerbs and other items such as pipes
• Driving to various locations to collect supplies/ delivering supplies and machinery
• Required to arrive at company premises in your own transport at the start of each day to prepare for the work ahead.
Skills and Qualifications we are looking for:
• Experience of working in a team in groundworks or construction
• Full valid UK driving license is required.
• HGV license not essential but would be of benefit
• CSCS cards not essential but would be of benefit
• The ability to follow instructions from the supervisor/company owner
• An understanding of health and safety rules, and the ability to follow them
Job Type: Full Time Hours per week: 40+ per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Overtime and Weekend availability
Rate of Pay: Will be based on experience and qualifications
