We would be very grateful if everyone we know who owns a log burner would complete this survey, it’s vital for our industry that customers and people within the trade do not get labelled as being the main cause for health issues. New legislation, research and development means that providing you have a new Eco ready stove and are burning approved fuel like smokeless solid fuel or dry wood (which is super efficient as uses all of the wood for heat and is very renewable) then emissions are very limited with little impact on health. Negative media that implies woodburners are going to be banned and cause health problems is not accurate, talk to qualified sweeps, installers, stove shops, we have evidence which will help ease any worries you may have. Relying totally on electric, especially in areas like Cumbria is not a sustainable option, many outlets focus on net zero but forcing everyone to lose their woodburners is absolutely not the answer. Please help retain our industry 🔥
