🚨 Great news for oil and LPG homeowners! 🚨

From 21st July 2026, the Government's Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) grant is increasing from £7,500 to £9,000 for eligible homes.

That means many homeowners could upgrade to an Air Source Heat Pump with a customer contribution from around £2,000 after the grant is applied.*

Typical heat pump installation: £11,000
Government grant: £9,000
Customer contribution: From around £2,000

Some of the team here at Blue Flame are getting ready to take on the Pretty Muddy Race for Life on 9th May 💪

For those who haven’t heard of it before, Pretty Muddy is a fun (and very muddy!) obstacle course organised by Cancer Research UK. It’s all about climbing, crawling, and laughing your way around the course while raising money for life-saving cancer research.

This one is especially close to our hearts. Like so many, cancer has affected members of our team personally, which is why we’re so proud to be taking part and supporting such an important cause.

If you’re able to spare a few pounds, we’d be incredibly grateful for your support. You’ll need to choose one of our team members to donate to, but it all goes towards our shared Blue Flame total ❤️

We’ll be sharing before and after photos next week… wish us luck, we’re definitely going to need it! 😅
