🚨 Great news for oil and LPG homeowners! 🚨
From 21st July 2026, the Government's Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) grant is increasing from £7,500 to £9,000 for eligible homes.
That means many homeowners could upgrade to an Air Source Heat Pump with a customer contribution from around £2,000 after the grant is applied.*
💷 Example:
Typical heat pump installation: £11,000
Government grant: £9,000
Customer contribution: From around £2,000
Why are more homeowners choosing heat pumps?
✅ Cheaper to run than oil and LPG systems
✅ More stable energy costs
✅ Renewable, low-carbon heating
✅ Government grant applied upfront by us
Plus, eligible Worcester Bosch systems are available with monthly payment options from around £83 per month over 24 months.
At Blue Flame, we've been installing and servicing heat pumps since 2009, helping homeowners across Cornwall make the switch to renewable heating with confidence.
With around 50% of Cornwall off the natural gas network, this grant increase could make renewable heating more affordable than ever before.
