New roof in Penzance, love working with natural products putting things back as they should be.

Strip off, new felt and batten new facias eve protesters and vents, re slate using natural slate , take down all 3 chimneys which were falling anyway renew none existing code 3 lead soakers code 4 flashings, re render and make good next door, new ridges with anti bird spikes to stop the seagulls landing on the roof .

Went to fit 2 velux windows last week in this property owner has just moved in it had a new roof last year slates lath felt and leadwork but thought fit to cover up all the rotten timbers, so had to strip the lot off, this is where we are at today new wall plate made some new principle beams and perlins are on

So Monday I started a little job this house is brand new the workmanship is atrocious the floating toilets when being sat on pulled the wall forward and cracked all the tiles, the tiles in the shower had delaminated and had fell off of fresh plaster the walls were 35 mm ot of plumb and 70mm out of square, there were leaking pipes rotten timber and insufficient bracing and timber size.
Now it's a proper job with 4x2 timber walls insulated new floors and boarded in 12 mm hardibacker bathroom board no soggy plasterboard here, also fitted some features in the walls

Great little job this week in pendeen, take down rotton wooden conservatory and replace with upvc the weather has been really cruel to the timber here, this should last a little longer also had the help of Olivia just awaiting new glass for the roof now
