Chimney breast wall damp from trapped moisture.

Cement, gypsum plaster and emulsion paints have all contributed to the degrading damp mouldy wall.

All cement and modern impervious building products removed.

The chimney has been vented externally with the addition of a cowl to help dry out the wall.

Wood wool boards with a lime h**p plaster finish.

The wall is now able to breath once again !
