Half way there…

Highland Industrial Supplies were recently chosen to supply and deliver 22km of deer fencing materials for a large scale project in a remote area of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.

Any ideas where? 🤔.

Multiple depots worked together to complete the initial 8 lorry loads to this site, with another 2 to go which will complete the delivery on this project.

One of our many USPs is vendor reduction: supplying the entirety of materials required for one project from the deer posts & gates to padlocks, bird markers and everything in between.

By alleviating the requirement for a client to organise multiple deliveries with many different suppliers and choosing Highland Industrial Supplies to supply and deliver all the materials, the client was able to focus on other aspects of the project such as helicopter scheduling ( all of these materials will be bundled and flown out further into the wilderness ).

Once the netting is delivered shortly, I’ve kindly been invited out to site, which involves a long road trip followed by a short boat trip - I’m looking forward to seeing how this project progresses.

Easter transpired slightly differently this year…see for yourself 🐰 🐣 🥚.

We’ve managed to contain the Easter bunnies, but at great peril 😮 . As you can see, one of the rascals managed to make an elaborate escape with one of our lorries, but we managed to get it back, so deliveries for next week will go ahead as planned.

Thankfully, the office is full of good-eggs, and we managed to remove the bunnies, an eggcelent effort by the Highland Industrial Supplies Perth Fencing Department team, we are open as per usual over Easter, therefor if you require any fencing or agricultural materials, get in touch!

I’m sure it’s not just Highland Industrial Supplies Ltd that wrestles with the “too much vs not enough” stock debate, and rarely achieves “just the right amount”. However, as the office team are connected to sales we’d always prefer an abundance of stock, sometimes during the year we probably take in more than we should.

I doubt we are going to experience that scenario this year.

As many stockists & manufacturers struggle to fulfil demand, we are fortunate to have large stock holdings, particularly of stock & deer fencing materials. 🐄 🦌

We’ve also had another successful delivery completed in a remote part of Scotland today🌄

Another busy period at Highland Industrial Supplies 🚛 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

As Q1 comes to an end, I thought I’d share with you all the scale of goods coming in ➡️ goods going out recently.

We’re seeing large quantities of fencing materials arriving into our yard — from posts & wire, to gates and security fencing systems — ensuring we’re fully stocked and ready to meet demand across Scotland and the islands.

With significant stock holdings on the ground, we’re able to supply when others can’t — keeping our customers’ projects moving without delay ✅.

Just as quickly as it comes in, it’s heading back out. Our yard team keeps everything moving efficiently, loading up orders for delivery on our own fleet of lorries — all equipped with onboard forklifts, allowing us to deliver exactly where our customers require it, when they require it.
