Britmet slate to the roof, oak barge & fascia + oak apron.
Now on to the joinery from Venables Timber which has the sikkens finish extrerior and osmo finish interior. Nice bit of lead to underside of cladding to ensure water run off and British Larch cut into the exterior frame. Direct double glazed panel to front elevation and finish.
Blessed with sunshine and lots of tea, really enjoyed this garden project.

Oak Framed cart shed 3.5 x 5.0. Lovely project underneath a large Cedar Tree. The clients needed storage space and a space for solo yoga practice, we used ground screws with full principle oak frame & British Larch cladding

Green Oak Glazed Extension—Kent.

Glazing batons + copper flashing + 44mm triple glazed solar units + 32mm air dried planed all round Oak capping to envelope the exterior of the internal frame.

And finally the frame is cleaned internally.

Savage Cranes making light work of the 7.8 span Trusses and principle oak Frames.

The next stage after pe***ng & Fixing is the cut roofs with Air dried Oak fascia & Barge boards.

The combination of glass oak and craftsmanship 🙌

Three Trusses incorporating stainless steel brackets to the structural engineers specifications as our client didn’t want the oak curved bracing.

Stay tuned for the progress as the crane lifts the principle oak frame and we cut the rafters for both the feature porch and the dayroom.

Employ a local Architect who can help bring your ideas and requirements to detailed construction and planning drawings!
We will overlay the Architectural Cad drawings with a conceptual Timber Frame 3d model.

Our designers and structural engineers will produce a final design drawing for sign off.

Once all design and technical requirements have been met we can order the Green Oak and schedule the workshop slot for manufacturing.

Wayne is a talented brick layer and Miriam had the vision for the two storey glazed oak frame.
The next stage is the copper flashing and batons to create the rebate for the Planitherm A rated units.
Air dried planed all round 32mm thick capping boards jointed to the exterior face of the glazed frame.
Loving the sunshine on this July/August fit.
