She connected. We repaired. 🏠
This roof had well and truly had enough: slipped and cracked tiles, rotten battens, and old felt that had given up completely. In this week's downpours it was letting water straight into the property. 💧
So we stripped it back, fitted new treated battens and breathable Permavent membrane, and re-covered the whole roof to leave it watertight, moss-free and good for years to come.

This is exactly why proper roofing details matter 👇

We opened this up and found expanding foam used where lead flashing should have been. Over time, that trapped moisture, leading to severe timber rot and the perfect environment for bugs to move in 🪲

As you can see, the timber had completely broken down – soft, crumbling, and no longer doing its job.

Our fix:
✔️ Stripped out all the rotten and infested timber
✔️ Rebuilt the structure with new, treated timber
✔️ Replaced the damaged fascia and soffit
✔️ Installed the correct solution to prevent water ingress moving forward

Another property protected and built back properly 💪
