⚠️ THIS is why annual boiler checks matter ⚠️

Found this during a routine boiler service today.

That hole in the flue wasn’t visible from the outside — it was found inside the cavity. From the outside everything looked fine, but inside the metal had completely corroded through.

A damaged flue like this can allow harmful fumes, including carbon monoxide, to leak before they safely exit the property. And if it’s inside a cavity, you’d never know without a proper inspection.

This boiler was still running.
The customer had no idea there was an issue.
