We love welcoming our gardening community to Torberry, sharing what we do, how we do it, and learning from the curiosity and passion of others.

It was a pleasure to welcome trainees from the Historic and Botanic Garden Training Programme, the Professional Gardeners Guild and the MacRobert Trust Horticultural Training Scheme for a tour, a look back at some of our favourite projects, and a cup of tea and a chat about gardening.

We were delighted to join and for another day of removing tree guards 🌱

By helping to clear up and remove any leftover tree guards, the trees (between 15 and 20 years old) are now strong enough to stand on their own.

Our volunteering session brought together colleagues from across marketing, projects, sales, installation and the factory. It was a great opportunity to get involved in restoring and supporting our local landscape.

Our next session will be planting some native broadleaf trees. We can’t wait!

A shared effort for a greener future, and another way to put our commitment to sustainability into action.

We recently welcomed foodies , and to Alitex HQ for our annual Harvest Lunch – a celebration of growing, greenhouses and the simple joy of bringing people together over wonderful seasonal food.

Julius and Ellie prepared a delicious seasonal lunch before Mark joined Julius for a warm and open conversation about food, growing, nature and embracing the seasons.

We also enjoyed taking our guests behind the scenes at Alitex, with a tour of our design studio and factory, offering an insight into the care and craftsmanship that go into creating our bespoke glasshouses.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a memorable day.

A glimpse of autumn in the garden.
