More progress with the restoration of the crash pillars and buffer beam top plate. Headstock equipment (Castings, fastenings) were removed in order to build up areas that had corroded. Toplate has now been re installed as well as the crash pillars and castings.

Stripping down process has gone well, we have removed the ends to gain access to the crash pillars, we have also started...

Stripping down process has gone well, we have removed the ends to gain access to the crash pillars, we have also started the process of building up corroded areas with weld, in preparation for the installation of new buffer beam top plate a lower section of crash pillars to be replaced.
