A little throwback to a project Stu completed before we established Plymouth Property & Building Maintenance. 🔨

A completely custom-built timber ceiling feature for a local nightclub — definitely not your everyday bit of carpentry!

These were taken mid-build, so excuse the visible bolts! 😅 They were later countersunk and covered for a clean finish, with routed LED lighting added to really make the whole thing pop. 💡

We were clearly having too much fun building this one to remember to take any finished photos! 😂 Still, it was too good not to share.

A very special little project for us. 🩷👶

We’ve been busy creating this beautiful new baby room for some very close friends of ours, ready to welcome their second little one into the world.

This one wasn’t a job — it was our gift to them. A fresh new space for a brand-new chapter, made with plenty of care and love.

Congratulations on the arrival of your beautiful baby girl. We hope she has many happy years growing up in her new room. 🏡🩷

🔨 Full swing on our Dormer Loft Extension!

With a two-week deadline, progress is moving quickly — insulation is in, plasterboarding and joint taping underway, and both Velux windows are fitted.

A last-minute addition has also been made: a new side window perfectly positioned to take in the beautiful view towards Drake’s Island! 🌊

Plenty happening and a big push to the finish! 💪

We’ve recently finished this fantastic paving project, creating a large, practical outdoor space that completely transforms the garden.

The new paving has been carefully laid across the raised terrace, with a mixture of complementary tones giving the area plenty of character while still keeping a clean, modern finish. We’ve also incorporated timber posts and glass balustrading, helping to keep those open views across the garden while providing a smart finish around the raised area.

A brilliant space for entertaining, relaxing and making much better use of the garden throughout the year. 👌
