Well… that’s one way to make a refurbishment project memorable 😅

During works at a recently vacated flat, an unexpected “historic item” (yes… a gr***de 👀) was discovered — prompting a visit from the bomb squad and a temporary evacuation.

All safe, all handled professionally, and we’re back to doing what we do best — transforming properties (minus the surprises, hopefully 🤞).

Just another day on site with Ryno Build… though we definitely prefer plastering over bomb squads!

⚠️ “It’s only Artex… what harm can it do?”

That’s a common assumption—until you realise your ceiling may have been installed between the 1960s and 1990s, when some Artex products contained asbestos.
Suddenly, that once “harmless” textured finish doesn’t seem quite so appealing.
