Another hack off & re render on this chimney for Kevin Purdy & Son Roofing Contractor providing them with a fully comprehensive solution to this damaged structure 🔨

It’s such a shame seeing the brutal effects of British weather on these traditional Victorian property’s in Plymouth, but with a structural repair for the cornice we where able to take this chimney back to its weather resistant glory 🌦️

A few cowels to go on and this one will be over the line ✅

Once again we have provided our client with a fully comprehensive solution, from access to solution with this huge Re-design for this chimney within Lipson. This was one of two, as we also completed the neighbours chimney too.

This chimney received:
- A hack off & disposal of previous mortar
- Removal & reinstallation of chimney pots
- Removal & reinstallation of chimney Flaunch
- New metal cowels
- installation of 10mm Nylon mesh integrated render system
- New lead Aprons
- New lead Saddles

Another 10MM GP mix system with an integrated nylon mesh applied & finished onto another chimney for Kevin Purdy & Son Roofing Contractor ⚒️

This 100 year old chimney was no different to many others that we repair on a weekly basis:

- water ingress through the flaunch
- struggling mortar brickwork
- unpractical bellcast
