The environments we work in are constantly changing, whether that's working around plant, managing traffic, operating at height or carrying out arboricultural works near live infrastructure. Experience counts, but regular training keeps knowledge fresh and reinforces the standards we expect across the business.

We're looking for a Business Systems Co-ordinator to join our team in Polegate.

This role is all about helping projects run efficiently behind the scenes. From maintaining accurate records and supporting project teams to improving processes and managing information, you'll play an important part in keeping the business organised and projects moving forward.

We're looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented and confident working with digital systems. Experience with Procore is helpful, but not essential. If you're organised, enjoy problem-solving and take pride in getting the details right, we'd like to hear from you.

We're looking for a Business Systems Co-ordinator to join our team in Polegate.

Last week, teams from across Chaffin Works came together for our Annual Safety Stand Down Day.

The day brought together colleagues from across the business for a series of practical sessions designed to reinforce the standards, behaviours and knowledge that help keep people safe on site. We were pleased to welcome a number of industry specialists, with sessions covering Red Zone awareness, MEWP rescue, catastrophic bleed response, biosecurity and confidential reporting.

Alongside these, our own teams shared their experience through demonstrations covering aerial rescue, machine maintenance and the Highway Code. It was a reminder that safety is not just about procedures, but about competence, communication and looking out for one another.

The day also gave everyone the opportunity to catch up away from live projects, with a barbecue and laser clay shooting bringing colleagues together and recognising the effort that goes into delivering work across the business.

A big thank you to Flannery Plant Hire, GTAccess Ltd, Lily Dean Training , Forestry Commission and CIRAS confidential safety hotline for transport for helping make the day a success, and to everyone involved in organising and delivering it.
