Welcome to the Pentruder Family - First Pentruder in the fleet!

We are delighted to welcome Concrete Cutters as the latest addition to the Pentruder UK Ltd family.

Yesterday marked an exciting breakthrough as Concrete Cutters took delivery of their very first Pentruder Wallsaw, the powerful 8-20IQ 27kW system. This achievement represents a real triumph for the sales team at Pentruder UK. Despite having a long-standing relationship with Concrete Cutters over the years, this is their first opportunity to add a Pentruder saw to their fleet.

Catching up with old friends and true industry professionals, Greg Berry of Berry Techon, Dave Dougan of BD Nuclear, and Graham Crewe of Pentruder UK.

In an industry that is constantly evolving, there is immense value in bringing together decades of experience, sharing ideas, discussing challenges, and reflecting on how far the concrete cutting industry has come.

Collectively, they represent more than 150 years of concrete cutting, demolition, and specialist engineering knowledge. That depth of experience brings a unique perspective, from the industry's early developments through to the advanced technologies and techniques shaping its future today.

Pentruder MDU3 Core Drilling Machine – Cutting Performance at Its Best

The Pentruder MDU3 was recently put to the test on a challenging project for MGBC Ltd in Westminster, where the team were tasked with drilling 500mm diameter holes to depths of up to 2000mm through a demanding combination of heavy steel and concrete.

The performance of this latest core drilling machine from Tractive was nothing short of phenomenal — showcasing extreme cutting technology at its very best.

Equipped with an autofeed motor and precise drill depth setting, the MDU3 made light work of the application, giving the operator complete confidence and ensuring the job was completed efficiently and on schedule.

A true demonstration of power, precision, and reliability in the toughest conditions.

Pentruder Distributor Meeting – Borlänge, Sweden

The Pentruder UK team headed to Tractive on 3rd June, ahead of the Pentruder Distributor Meeting held on 4th June 2026 in Borlänge, Sweden.

We received a very warm welcome from Tractive, as Pentruder distributors from around the world came together to discuss the exciting future developments of Pentruder and a range of truly revolutionary new products.

The day featured a combination of live demonstrations and in-depth discussions, including the MDU3 core drill motor and the RS2i wall saw, followed by a tour of the impressive new premises and production department. It was great to see the highly skilled engineers carrying out precision manufacturing processes first-hand.

Throughout the day, we also took part in informative talks covering sales and service strategies, alongside detailed product knowledge sessions, making the event both insightful and highly valuable.

Most importantly, it was a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge and experiences with fellow distributors worldwide. A great time was had by all, and it truly is a privilege to be part of the Pentruder family and the exciting journey ahead.

A big thank you to Marie, Jenny, Kristoffer, and the entire Pentruder team for all the hard work put into such a well-organised, welcoming, and successful event.

With more than 65 years of experience in concrete cutting, Greg Berry holds an exceptional reputation for achieving what many would consider unachievable. From drilling a first hole at just six years old, this remarkable journey has gone on to shape and inspire the industry worldwide.

Through the creation of opportunities, the development of bespoke machinery, the introduction of wire sawing to Australia, and close collaboration with manufacturers across the globe, Greg’s contribution has played a critical role in the evolution of diamond tools and concrete cutting machinery.

This dedication and passion have directly enhanced the drilling and sawing techniques now used across the industry — techniques that many of us simply take for granted today.

A true pioneer and lifelong contributor, Greg Berry’s impact on concrete cutting is both profound and enduring. Anyone fortunate enough to cross paths with Greg Berry can consider themselves extremely lucky.

We are proud to call Greg Berry our lifelong dearest friend — and a true legend of our industry!
