Pentruder Distributor Meeting – Borlänge, Sweden

The Pentruder UK team headed to Tractive on 3rd June, ahead of the Pentruder Distributor Meeting held on 4th June 2026 in Borlänge, Sweden.

We received a very warm welcome from Tractive, as Pentruder distributors from around the world came together to discuss the exciting future developments of Pentruder and a range of truly revolutionary new products.

The day featured a combination of live demonstrations and in-depth discussions, including the MDU3 core drill motor and the RS2i wall saw, followed by a tour of the impressive new premises and production department. It was great to see the highly skilled engineers carrying out precision manufacturing processes first-hand.

Throughout the day, we also took part in informative talks covering sales and service strategies, alongside detailed product knowledge sessions, making the event both insightful and highly valuable.

Most importantly, it was a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge and experiences with fellow distributors worldwide. A great time was had by all, and it truly is a privilege to be part of the Pentruder family and the exciting journey ahead.

Pentruder UK has been a cornerstone of the Pentruder European network since 2009, and the joining of the two family businesses ensures the continuation and further strengthening of that legacy. With the full backing of Tractive AB, Pentruder UK is exceptionally well-positioned to bring even greater value to its customers across the UK and Ireland.

Graham Crewe, who has led Pentruder UK with distinction for many years, will continue as CEO during a transition period, and his daughter Lydia Allitt will assume gradual leadership of the business.

With more than 65 years of experience in concrete cutting, Greg Berry holds an exceptional reputation for achieving what many would consider unachievable. From drilling a first hole at just six years old, this remarkable journey has gone on to shape and inspire the industry worldwide.

Through the creation of opportunities, the development of bespoke machinery, the introduction of wire sawing to Australia, and close collaboration with manufacturers across the globe, Greg’s contribution has played a critical role in the evolution of diamond tools and concrete cutting machinery.

This dedication and passion have directly enhanced the drilling and sawing techniques now used across the industry — techniques that many of us simply take for granted today.

A true pioneer and lifelong contributor, Greg Berry’s impact on concrete cutting is both profound and enduring. Anyone fortunate enough to cross paths with Greg Berry can consider themselves extremely lucky.
