Morning everyone, I hope you are all well and enjoying this beautiful weather!.Back in January, we started a new job which consists of a large Extension with 2 squints in the design to maximise the space adjacent to the rock face, along with extending a large extension to the decking area. To do all this, massive retaining walls have been designed & Built, steels have been designed & installed. And so on..

Weeks & weeks of excavating rock out, Disposing it away, carrying up materials which are being handled 3/4 times before being used, so much work involved but only a fraction noticed or seen.

Please see our before & After photos of the progress so far. The site access and location is one of the toughest we’ve done, good job we are well geared up for it and have the best quality & experience in these circumstances. A big Thank you to all my Lads who have worked tirelessly as always in a very tough location, in very hot conditions, I’m sure you can imagine getting all these steels up to the site from the village centre was a mission.

Appreciation post!!! Mega job by my boys who have continuously worked through the heat these past few weeks, on this mega job we have going on. The job consists of a large squint extension to maximise space in between the rock, plus a large extension of Terrace & a new veranda, coming soon……

Hey everyone, well we finally finished our new build project at Palm court in my home town village of Polperro. If you have followed the journey of this project, you will know it’s not just a new Dwelling we’ve built. Retaining walls, steps, curved walls, bespoke carpentry to the clients specification, such as all oak cladding, oak treads, Bespoke A-Frames & Purlins. It has been an absolute privilege to carry out this project and work with our amazing clients. I’d finally like to give a big shoutout to all my lads hard work as always and all the contractors who have worked with us also, as they do on all our projects

Morning everyone, sorry we’ve been quiet recently, we have been super busy getting Palm lodge pushed on before the main house adjacent to the new build ready for letting for the summer. We are due back to complete Palm lodge in October. Since our last update we have finished the slate roof, the client wanted a detailed finish on the roof so we have created some small diamond patterns, plus splayed the ends of the slates in symmetrical courses to break up the look and add a feature to the roof. Amongst this the following works have been completed.

* Underfloor heating and floors screeded

*Insulated and battened off inside ready for some
super special reclaimed cladding.

* Internal stud work erected and fitted

*Bespoke A-Frames, Purlins &
Joists specially cut, made to look rustic, by our carpenters.

* External preparation with intumescent fire strips and battening

*Cedral cladding fitted and balcony works fitted and completed.

*Windows fitted & our bespoke made to order French doors & 2 stable doors made and fitted onsite.

* All drains dug laid and fitted including soak away.

* garden walls marrying up with existing walls and faced with stone. To be completed.

* Rendering of outside walls finished with the well known (Polperro Ripple) if you know you know.

* outside walls capped Off & fence posts etc fitted

* Concrete base laid and a herring bone fitted brick for the clients Yoga Studio

* External Decoration.

Lastly followed by a BBQ from our clients as a thank you for meeting the requirements needed to get the other house ready for summer letting.
