After a very wet and slow start to 2026… we’re finally off! 🌧️ 🧱

We’ve been busy working on this farmhouse cottage extension in Stourpaine, and it’s a bit different from the usual builds for us.

This project features reclaimed bricks and traditional flint panels, helping the new extension blend in with the character of the original cottage. One of our favourite details so far is the circular window feature in the gable, a proper statement piece.

Still plenty to do, but it’s great to see it starting to take shape.

So, in true Tabs style, rather than just enjoying riding a bike this summer, I’ve decided to set myself a challenge 🤦🏻‍♀️

I will be riding London to Brighton in September, which is much further than just riding my bike to the pub…and it’s going to hurt.

To make all this pain worthwhile I will be raising money for Elsie's Rose, a charity supporting those who are going through the unthinkable pain of losing a child.

Ben and Annie are inspirational individuals who whilst dealing with their own grief have decided to help others too, and so I’d like to support them with their fundraising.
