🔧45 years ago, David Piper embarked on a mission to provide custom seals of the highest quality to fellow innovative engineers. He also revolutionised the moulding industry with his innovative tooling.

🤝David's first hire, Phil Hendes, was an integral part of DP Seals' history. Phil's dedication and expertise in Quality Control set the stage for our commitment to excellence.

In 1978, we moved to Unit 6 Dawkins Road, where we began large volume production of seals, gaskets, and mouldings.

In 1987, the DP Seals family got even stronger as David's son, Andrew, stepped into the business.

Andrew brought a wealth of specialised material knowledge, complementing his father's deep engineering expertise.

Their collaboration has been the driving force behind our commitment to innovation and quality.

Nick's journey with DP Seals commenced in 2013 when he assumed the role of Subsea Supervisor Inspector. Rapidly grasping the intricacies of rubber parts manufacturing standards, Nick swiftly evolved into an indispensable member of the team.

After four years, Nick embarked on a new phase in his career by shadowing the quality department supervisor, immersing himself in the intricacies of Metrology across the company.

In March 2020, Nick took on the role of deputy for the quality department supervisor. This commitment to excellence culminated in his promotion to Quality Supervisor in 2021, a role that he comfortably settled into, demonstrating his remarkable competence.

The year 2023 brought another milestone as Nick was promoted to Quality Manager in July.

Moreover, he successfully completed the QMS Lead Auditor course, founded on AS9100D standards.

The entire DP Seals team extends their heartfelt wishes to Nick as he steps into his new role. We have unwavering confidence in his ability to thrive and excel.
