17/08/2026

We would like to thank everyone who applied for our recent Welder/Fabricator position. We received a great response and are pleased to confirm that the role has now been filled.

Following our recent success in securing the East Dunbartonshire Council blacksmith contract, and due to Inverweld’s continued growth, we may be looking to recruit one additional fabricator in the near future. We will therefore keep the CVs received on record for consideration when another position becomes available.

We’re also delighted to have recently welcomed a new Labourer and a Contracts Manager, who will oversee the timber fencing side of the business.

To support our growing team, we have added another van to our fleet. It has been fully equipped with a welding generator and all the tools required to carry out fabrication, welding and repair work on site.

These additions to our personnel and vehicle fleet will help streamline our operations, improve the coordination of our contracts and allow our teams to work more efficiently. This will strengthen our ability to meet agreed timescales while continuing to provide the high standard of workmanship and service our clients expect.

It’s an exciting time for everyone at Inverweld, and we would like to thank our employees, customers and clients for their continued support.

WE'VE MOVED!

Inverweld Welding & Fabrication is proud to announce our relocation to our new premises at:

As a family-run business with deep roots in Port Glasgow, this move represents a major milestone in our journey and a significant investment in the future of both our company and our local community.

With an investment of over £350,000, our new facility has been designed to support the continued growth of the business while providing a modern, efficient, and safe working environment for our workforce. The new premises offer enhanced workshop capabilities, improved operational efficiency, and significantly upgraded welfare facilities for our employees.

Since 1984, Inverweld has remained committed to delivering high-quality welding and fabrication services while creating and sustaining skilled jobs in Inverclyde . As a local family business, we understand the importance of investing in our town, supporting local employment, and helping maintain the area's proud industrial heritage.

We would like to thank our employees, customers, suppliers, friends, and family for their continued support throughout the years. Your loyalty and trust have helped make this next chapter possible.

As we settle into our new home, we look forward to building on our reputation for quality, reliability, and service while continuing to invest in our people and our community.

We would like to take a moment to recognise and thank some of the fantastic local businesses and individuals who helped make this project a reality.

Moving into our new facility has been a major undertaking, and the support, expertise, and professionalism shown throughout the project have been invaluable.

A special thank you to:
