Crazy busy last month for the lads at AMK, roof in balmacara that escalated, all the way back to the trusses…new sarkin new everything, the lead ridge really works on this old building 👌 thanks to Tommy MacDonald roughcasting a chimney for us after we fitted new lead, top notch work 👌 also a roof we sheeted, on probably the most un square building in history 😂 but we got there…still yet to find something that will stop us 💪 onto the next, we have materials delivered on 2 jobs so June will fly by 😎

Another roof completed last week 🔨 new build in the beautiful Camuscross. No forklift available so 4 odd thousand slates graded and hauled up on the shoulder by lamont 💪 we’re fairly getting through the roofs this year, and plenty more to come 😎

A few pics from this new roof we completed last week, finished in plenty of time for them opening for the season tomorrow 👌 terracotta slates and ridging specially ordered from Belgium, really makes this guest house stand out 😎 great hand as always from all the lads 💪 onto the next 🔨

It’s been a couple of weeks full of velux windows. 20 fitted on 5 different jobs, that’s a record at AMK anyway, a couple of 90kg windows which were certainly a test 💪 couldn’t of asked for a better start to the year weather wise ☀️

Chuffed to get the first roof of 2026 under our belts 😎 6500 slates on this stunning house, thankfully the weather was fairly kind for January! Great hand from Ali Lamont and macqueen 💪 onto the next 1!

Good to get the first day under our belts slating on this new build over in Carbost 🔨 luckily sheltered today we will see what tomorrow brings 💨🫣 also a few pics of recent facia and gutter renewals.

Really pleased to get this slate roof finished today for Altree Joinery Ltd. Stunning house in a beautiful spot in staffin 👌 best part of 7000 slates on this roof so a lot of hard work went in 💪
