Good afternoon you lovely lot.
Just a heads up for a great bunch of folk raising money for a defibrillator machine.
They are having a 'tea and cake' event Friday 4th September at The GlenView on the Staffin Road.
Pop along and enjoy some wonderful home baking provided by many people of the community.

This defibrillator will be provided for locals and tourists who need it.

Come and support a great cause and fill your belly at the same time.

Good evening you lovely folk. Sorry for the late post but it's been a busy day here.
It seems that you all have a sweet tooth lol and today the box was completely empty so I've spent the day restocking with goodies
So in the box you'll find
Duck and chicken eggs
White chocolate and raspberry blondie
Crunchie Fudge
Lemon Meringue Fudge
Cookies and Cream Fudge
In the morning it'll also be restocked with Caramel Millionaires and Biscoff Millionaires
Pop down and grab yourself a treat.

It's the little things that make it worthwhile.
I got home yesterday to see a note left in the cash tin.
I half expected an IOU, but instead had a lovely surprise.
A lovely little note by a passing tourist.
Thank you it made me smile after a tough week.

Good evening. I hope they weather is being kind to you whatever you're doing.

It's nearly that time of year when the schools are nearly done and you're struggling to think what to treat those lovely teachers to, who have put up with your children all year without batting an eyelid.

Fudge is the answer. Actually fudge is the answer to everything lol

We do share boxes of your favourite flavours to keep everyone happy...very happy I'd say.

Well that's the first Portree Market Skye done for today. And what a great turn out we had.

Thanks to Jack for having the thought and making it reality. It was great to see lots of new stallholders turn out today.

What was even better was to see the support from all the people who set foot through the doors and made it a success.
We met some great people and made lots of new contacts.
Here's to many more.

Well it's less that 10 hours till our first Portree Market. Come along and support your local crofters and makers.
You'll find us in Portree Community Centre on Saturday 20th June between 10 and 3.

Make it a good day. Hopefully it'll be the first of many.

We're only a few days off our first Portree Market. Let's hope it's the first of many.

This Saturday it is all go! Hope to see plenty of people and make a real day of it! Hope to be the first of many...
Massive mix of produce and goods available with around 25 stalls so looking to be a good day and plenty of options to please everyone!
PLEASE where possible bring CASH. The market has come together due to some fantastic people Skye Mountaineering , Jean Dow Herbalist Ltd and Cuillin Cleans sponsoring the day but donations towards keeping it going and of course charity are key for this day. Of course its free but donations would go a long way hence the cash comment (Although im sure most stalls will take card too😁).
