So far you have seen the outside area that was nothing but an unused empty space. Transformed into a high quality, multipurpose, all year round garden.

Now lets talk entertainment.

Let me take you inaidw the garden room, where ideas grew and dreams were met. The very first part of my journey in the full scale renovation project.

49 square metres of refined garden living.

Wrapped in anthracite grey cladding with contrasting black trims, this space is designed to stand out — and built to last. A single-ply rubber roof with integrated skylight draws natural light through the fully insulated interior, finished with herringbone LVT flooring throughout.

Sliding patio doors open onto composite decking and a private enclosed canopy area, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor flow.
Inside, a custom built bar and pocket door system complete the space — crafted for entertaining, built for year-round comfort.

Over the last few years, I’ve had the opportunity to take on a huge range of projects — from all types of pitched and flat roofing (torch-on, single ply, and liquid systems) to flooring, decking, first and second fix carpentry, bespoke joinery, cladding, UPVC installations, skylights, pocket doors, garden structures and more.

Every job has been a chance to grow, refine my craft, and push the standard higher. But this latest project… this one tops the lot.

This whole garden transformation brings together every single skill I’ve learned and perfected — roofing, carpentry, flooring, decking, cladding, joinery, UPVC, finishing — all combined into one complete outdoor build. It’s the biggest and most rewarding project I’ve ever completed as a solo tradesman.

Before Christmas, this floor was carefully levelled.

After taking time to return to work following the loss of my brother, I came back to complete this space with the attention it deserved.

This engineered wood herringbone floor, fully bonded with adhesive, is finished with a single straight plank border, a light oak sealant line with mitred corners and new skirting boards for a clean, contemporary look.

The room wasn’t perfectly square, so the centre line was thoughtfully set to draw the eye toward the middle of the French patio doors and measurements were carefully monitered to compliment the fireplace, giving the room a real sense of purpose and warmth.

Quality flooring isn’t just about materials — it’s about
care, patience, and getting the details right.

A flawless second coat of levelling compound… now the real magic: a full floor laid in just 10 seconds.

It was so out of level that one pour wasn’t enough — had to hit it with a second application of self-levelling compound to bring it back to life 🛠️

“Ripped up an old bathroom floor yesterday at another job of mine in which im doing various projects. This floor was leaning to one side and dipping in the middle like it couldnt make its mind up🤦‍♂️ Follow along and see how I get this back to level and ready for some new flooring
