My eleven-year-old bought me these, one for him and one for me. ⌚❤️

Little reminders like this make me stop and remember why I’m building this business in the first place.

Not just to earn a living, but to build something my children can feel proud of and secure in.

And yes, the time is wrong on one of them… and yes, one battery has already run out 😂
Still one of the best gifts I’ve had.

I know, I know… it’s “just a boiler post” 😅
No scenic sunsets. No deep life quotes. Just a nice, honest heating upgrade.
But behind this “boring boiler” is a full replacement, new cylinder, and a proper pipework tidy-up. Everything is now running cleaner, neater, and ready to do its job quietly in the background.
Heating and hot water might not be glamorous… until they stop working.

Not a picture of my work today, just a story from my day yesterday that’s brightened this rainy one up and shows the values behind the business.

There was a ten-year-old lad next door to the job I was on, selling daffodils he’d banded together himself for 50p a bunch. He’s saving up for his mum’s birthday. Instead of sitting around bored, he was out there showing initiative and giving it a go. I bought a few bunches and it genuinely made my day, and I hope it made his too. As I said to him, just keep up the good work 🌼

Really enjoyed doing this one — and what a difference it’s made.
It’s always satisfying taking a tight space and turning it into something clean, practical, and fresh. Proof that you don’t need a big bathroom to get a great result, just good planning and attention to detail.

I saw the New Year sitting in front of a traditional fire.
Quiet, steady heat. Time to reflect. Time to reset.
I want to say a big thank you to everyone who’s supported me on my journey.
I’m genuinely lucky and grateful to be surrounded by so many great people — something that’s easy to lose sight of during times of stress, especially around Christmas and family dynamics.

As a wise man once said:
“If you think you’re enlightened, spend a weekend with your family” 😆

Christmas run up 🎁❄️

From this… to this. 🔧🔥

This week’s job was a special one.
The customer’s old boiler and thermal store setup had finally given up — no heating, and far too cold to stay in the property. Not what you need heading into December and near Christmas with little ones.

I swapped the whole system out for a brand new Worcester 4000 combi, giving her:

✨ Reliable heating
✨ A modern, efficient system
✨ More space in the cupboard
✨ And a clean, tidy finish ready for future servicing

Most importantly — she’s back home and warm in time for Christmas ❤️
A little warmth really does go a long way.

Always nice when the work genuinely makes a difference.
