That is what at the heart of this incredible partnership between Mountjoy Ltd and Motiv8.

From golf days to galas, alongside brave abseilers, overcoming Tough Mudders, volunteering on our summer programmes, helping to bring our ‘Friends Of’ group to life, and by transforming our hubs into dedicated youth and community spaces, Mountjoy have been at the heart of so much of what we have achieved this year for young people and families.

🎨 Painting & Decorating Apprentice

Mountjoy Ltd has been keeping Portsmouth’s homes, schools, heritage buildings and public spaces in top condition since 1992. Now we’re looking for our next Painting & Decorating Apprentice someone ready to earn, learn and build a career in a skilled trade.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain a recognised qualification, real world experience, and a clear pathway to becoming a Qualified Painter & Decorator with pay increases, a company van and fuel card when qualified.

What You’ll Learn:
∙ Preparing & painting walls, ceilings, and woodwork
∙ Hanging wallpaper
∙ Repairing artex finishes
∙ Safe asbestos removal (full training provided)
∙ Working on everything from modern apartments to historic landmarks

We’re excited to announce that our charity clay shooting event is almost full, just 7 team spaces left.

👥 Teams of 4 – £600 per team (£150pp)

This event is completely suitable for first timers. Even if you’ve never held a shotgun before, you’ll be in safe hands with our expert instructors. All equipment is provided and open to all abilities.

Above & Beyond Awards 🌟

Congratulations Darren Fry & Matt Hall

We’re incredibly proud to recognise not one, but two of our colleagues for their outstanding actions that truly went above and beyond.

🙌 Darren stopped mid-journey to help a man who had fallen in the road, making sure he got up safely and reached where he needed to go.

🙌 Matt acted quickly when he found an unconscious man, calling an ambulance, placing him in the recovery position, and staying by his side until help arrived.

Both showed incredible kindness & integrity living our Mountjoy values every day. 👏💙
