This project in Hitchin was a bit of a challenge,when we discovered a well during the digging of foundations and the customer wishing to keep it, it has made an amazing feature to this 3 story town house. The rear extension and remodelling of the lower ground floor level has created an open plan kitchen dining and lounge area and utility pantry and cloakroom. Just a little decoration and cladding to outside to complete.

Job description

We require a full time carpenter to work on domestic properties. The individual needs to be fully trained and able to work on their own initiative or as part of the team and also willing to jump in and help out other trades if necessary. They will also need to be able to liaise with our customers regarding the projects. Works will include

All aspects of 1st and 2nd fix carpentry

Joisting

Cut roofs

Stairs

Loft conversions

Salary negotiable depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £180.00-£200.00 per day

Green Beaver. A Bedfordshire local carpentry, joinery and building company are looking for capable people to fill the following two positions in this busy time:

- Carpenter required to join our team, to work on domestic properties. Work will include extensions, loft conversions refurbishments and more! You will also need to be willing to jump in and help out on general building when needed. Work around North Herts and Central Beds area. Wage negotiable depending on experience.

- General Labourer required to join our busy building team, must be reliable and must have own transport, wages negotiable depending on experience.
