We often get asked ‘how do you turn a car park into an arena?’, well the answer is pretty simple as it’s the same as we do for arenas where we are constricted on planning, the ground requires protection or is liable to greater water volumes, the event/location is only temporary or the client requires full water management for a multitude of purposes.

The Equaflow base will therefore provide the foundations of the new arena at NAEC Stoneleigh and the team are starting to prepare for the build.

So what is Equaflow? It’s essentially an environmentally friendly base that is manufactured from recycled materials, Equaflow’s modular design offers excellent adaptability to cope with any terrain with minimal levelling. Suitable for permanent areas but particularly important for temporary arenas or those in protected areas where planning can be an issue, the overlay design ensures there is no long term damage to the existing grassed areas and prevents any high loads from impacting on existing tree roots.

Using Equaflow as a base also means that should you move from your property, you can take your arena with you!

We have received a number of enquiries recently for more information regarding our concrete edging boards.

The panels are our own design and have a smooth polished finish. They include hidden galvanised fixings, meaning you can fix the post to the panel (out of the ground) to prevent timbers rotting, providing a greater lifespan when compared to traditional timber panels. The exterior of the arena can also be backfilled up to the panels for landscaping around the arena edge without worry of deterioration.

Are you looking for new stabling? Manufactured in-house, our robust Standard Stabling range can be built with swinging or sliding doors with options for both anti-weave grilles and full grilles if required. A range of infill options, all in 34mm tongue and groove boarding, includes Oak, hardwood and dense plastic in a variety of colours.

All steelwork is provided with a galvanized finish to BS EN ISO 146:2009.

What a difference a couple of days make! From unused and needing attention to competition ready, this fantastic 105m x 58m 2012 surface installed Equaflow arena at was fully built by us back in 2015.

Benefitting from full active water management thanks to its Equaflow base, it is ideal in both very dry and wet conditions. We’ve been on site over the last couple of days to fully test the surface and provide an in-depth maintenance visit ahead of the forthcoming show.
