As the year comes to an end, with Christmas Day nearly upon us we’d like to thank all our past, present and future clients for entrusting us to complete their projects.

Here’s a little look back on one of our favourite projects to date. I’m sure you’ll all agree it looks amazing.

A little garden refresh the Team have managed to fit in between projects over the last few weeks. A massive 22 tonne excavated, removing the debris & concrete from when the house was originally built, prior to rebuilding the levels with stone and laying new Indian stone paving. A multi-skilled operative to join our team delivering a multitude of projects across the Northwest, predominantly in the Preston area.

Must Have’s
 Punctuality with a passion & commitment to succeed.
 Determination & a positive work ethic.
 Trustworthy & honest.
 A good knowledge of construction including groundworks, joinery & roofing.
 Ability to work under their own initiative.
Desirable but not essential
 Construction qualifications – NVQ or similar.
 CSCS Card.
 Driving Licence.

We’ve had a busy few weeks on site completing the masonry and roof at our listed thatched project. When we designed this project, we and the client were conscious that the low ceiling heights may result in the rooms being a little dark. So we introduced three roof lights. The additional natural light that they bring will transform the finished rooms.

Part of the planning approval on our grade ii, thatched cottage project required the new cills & lintels matching the existing stonework. As you can imagine, with the original house being over 300 years old they were not something we could get from the local builders merchant. Our dedicated team managed to source a near perfect match and following the skilled re-sizing and cleaning I’m sure you’ll agree they’re going to look great once we’ve rendered the masonry. www.wolfco.co.uk
