We are incredibly proud of everyone who took part in the LCM Charity Fundraising Hike on Saturday across the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. 🥾👏 Together, the team raised over £5,000 with further donations still coming in in support of Alzheimer’s charities and awareness of a cruel disease that sadly impacts so many families and communities. Participants took on one of two challenging routes: an impressive 26-mile trek or a demanding 13-mile hike. Both groups showed tremendous determination, team spirit, and good humour throughout the day. Special mention goes to Peter, who declared the 13 miles “a piece of cake” and is already considering the 26-mile challenge next time! 😊 We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to all our clients, suppliers, friends, and supporters who generously sponsored the event. Your kindness and encouragement helped make this achievement possible and contributed to a truly worthwhile cause. It was a fantastic day that reflected the values of teamwork, resilience, and community support that mean so much to us at LCM. Please keep an eye out for future fundraising events, we would be delighted to welcome even more people to get involved.

LCM Group are proud to showcase our latest completed project: Brucciani's Cafe, Preston

This 2-week project (time critical) was priced at 55-60k including extras.

The project included attending the site, stripping out the old toilets, work on the stairs and corridor, re-pipe water and waste (looked to re-tile new toilets plus IPS system, plus new deco/vinyl’s replace)

• New IPS System for Toilets

LCM Group recently completed a PAS Tank installation project for Biffa, Cannock.

Another top-class LCM Group project completed for James Hall Group at Spar, Kelbrook Road Service Station, Barnoldswick.

The works consisted of:

• Tree removal to allow proper access to the affected area.
• Manual excavation around the pipework, due to the presence of roots and the need for precision. Inclusive on grinding the stump down.
• Root removal in the area of the suspected damage.
• Isolation of the store’s water supply during the repair.
• Repair of the damaged pipework after the affected section has been fully exposed.

The works consisted of:

• Full Refurbishment
• Decoration throughout offices and Warehouse. Steels and floors.
• New high end carpet tiles and vinyls
• Supply and install new kitchenette
• Full LED upgrade offices and warehouse
• New roller shutter doors with access doors
• Remove stud partitions to create open plan office
• New ceiling grid and tiles throughout
• Remove existing asbestos roof and design and installation of new built up system
• New cladding fitted and skylights
• Yard repairs / Armco barriers installed
• Drainage survey

• Decoration throughout offices and Warehouse

• New steel fire exit doors throughout 18 & 21
• New A/C ventilation throughout units 18 & 19
• Full L,E,D upgrade throughout offices and warehouses

• New Fire alarm systems plus adaptions added

Team Hike at Ullswater: A Day to Remember: On Saturday, 20th September 2025, the LCM team headed to Ullswater for a company hike that combined team building with fundraising for our chosen charity, the British Heart Foundation. The walk was also held in memory of Kelly’s grandfather and Wayne’s father – two very special people. We’re proud to share that the event raised an impressive £2,400 for the charity.

The Hike: Around 20 of us took part. While the weather turned out better than forecast, there were moments where we found ourselves wading through nearly two feet of water! Despite the challenges, the autumn colours and spectacular views made the effort well worthwhile.

The Evening: After eventually managing to park, we checked into the hotel and gathered for a well-earned dinner, followed by drinks in a few local bars. The evening rounded off a fantastic day, full of laughter, camaraderie, and shared achievement.

Looking Ahead: All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable event, and we’re already looking forward to planning next year’s challenge.

LCM Group are proud to showcase recent Compost Yard Containment Wall works for Biffa at Walpole. This was a high-end project that needed finishing critically on-time, due to space on site and the approaching peak season. The project was estimated at 6-8 weeks and completed in 5 weeks.

Works undertaken:

- Saw cut and dig off the floor
- Create a new foundation footing
- Stack new Legato Blocks as per the drawing, to create new compounds
