In 2012 Garrick opened our Non Stick Coatings facility to serve small business, industrial bakeware sector including a number of leading supermarket chains. Garrick has built its reputation on a commitment to providing high quality

coatings & services. We provide protective coatings on various metal components, with a range of different coating options to suit everyone's needs! CLEAN BAKE COATING SOLUTIONS

Clean Bake Coating Solutions opened it bespoke purpose built 8,500 sq.ft facility in May 2012.

We are able to provide customers with a highly developed Non-Stick Coating to reduce the use of oil, grease and release agents in the production of bread and baked products which helps to prevent corrosion and chemical attack for offshore products.

Clean Bake Coating Solutions can apply many types of Non-Stick Fluoropolymer Coatings to food industry equipment which are FDA approved.

WET SPRAYING

Wet spraying is ideal for items which are unable to take heat or fit in the stoving ovens.

Like powder coating, wet spraying provides an attractive finish which is also tough and robust. Wet spray paints are available in a range of high performance paints which offers excellent external durability and a wide range of RAL & BS colours.

Bespoke colours can be manufactured to suit individual needs. Wet spray two pack coatings offer an extended life expectancy for coastal and offshore conditions.

POWDER COATING

Powder Coating is a coating that is applied as a free flowing dry powder. It is cured under heat which allows it to flow and form a skin. Once the powder cools it sets and forms a hard finish which is far tougher than conventional paints.

To achieve maximum protection from powder coating, a good surface pre-treatment is imperative. These are used to remove Grease, oil, soil and various other impurities. This can be done by a variety of chemical and mechanical methods. The selection of this method will depend on the size and material of the product. Garrick Surface Coatings Ltd will be happy to advise you on the best pre-treatment for your products.

EPOXY POLYESTER

Epoxy polyester is ideal for general indoor use and other applications where a high UV stability is not required. Zinc rich epoxy coatings are also available as a primer coat on phosphate or blast cleaned steel objects and structure. When combined with polyester top coat this offers an enhanced resistance to corrosion and weathering.

A low cure coating is also available which requires lower oven temperatures and as such offers a saving in cost. This is useful on longer production runs.

EPOXY

Epoxy coatings are an ideal choice for all industrial and engineering applications as they have an excellent chemical resistance and mechanical properties. This coating is susceptible to colour breakdown under UV over time. Specialist high build coatings (500m) are available for anti corrosion applications.

We offer a range of coatings for external applications including architectural metalwork. Extra life is a programme of life expectancies which offers up to sixteen years external life on powder coating systems in terms of anti corrosive performance.

NYLON

Nylon powder coating is a special coating which serves a range of applications providing a superior resistance to solvents, oils and chemicals. Nylon coating is a type of thermoplastic coating which offers a unique resistance to solvents and chemicals producing a hard satin finish and is used on a wide range of products.

POLYESTER

Polyester powder coatings are for use outdoors where UV stability and weather resistance is required. A typical example includes automotive trim, architectural components, cladding, fencing, motor cycles and garden furniture. These powders are available is a wide range of colours with a finish in gloss, satin, matt, aluminium and textured affects. These can be customised to match the customer’s requirements.

Garrick Surface Coatings Ltd offer a wide range of surface preparations prior to the application of the top coating. Pre-treatment will determine the life span of the specific coating to be applied, there is a variety of options both chemical and mechanical methods. Our facility enables us to:-

Vapour degreasing

This is the emersion of metal products into a vapour batch to clean and degrease prior to coating

This is a pre-treatment for galvanised steel

BLAST CLEANING

Blast cleaning also known as shot blasting and bead blasting is an aggressive cleaning process which will ensure that the product is smooth and free from any rust, metal oxides welding scales, flaking paint and many other impurities. At Garrick Surface Coatings Ltd we provide both shot blasting and bead blasting options along with different techniques.

We also offer a stripping facility prior to components being refurbished. Components that can be refurbished are endless.
