AFP Air Tech Ltd's PXF Floor Standing Chemical Gas Extract Unit is designed predominantly for chemical gas suppression systems requiring smoke and chemical agent extraction. As the chemical gases’ mass causes them to sink, the inlet box is mounted either on the floor or within a floor void to maximise agent extraction efficiency. The duct can be cut to required length and installed horizontally or vertically.

The PXF range of chemical gas extract units provides GAS EXTRACTION ONLY as per FIA guidance 01-02-2012. An additional SHX-UN universal pressure relief vent or DUX two-way pressure relief vent is required for fresh air make-up and pressure relief.

The PXW In Wall Inert Gas Extract range is designed to provide combined pressure relief and gas extraction for inert gas. These easy to install units offer a cost effective solution for post discharge gas extraction.

Each unit includes a 4-hour rated AFP SHX-UN pressure relief vent as standard, a DUX two way pressure relief vent can be provided upon request, the additional free vent area of the pressure relief vent can be factored into the enclosure’s overall requirement. The unit is supplied in kit form for fitting at low or high level within the risk.

AFP Air Tech Ltd's EXP Exterior Louvre unit is used with AFP’s DUX range of pressure relief vents in halocarbon installations. It has been specifically designed to provide a Free Vent Area (FVA) matching that of DUX while providing the weather protection essential for two-way vents in exterior walls.

The weather sealing must be maintained while supporting two-directional flow, a sealed external unit cannot be used, making an open louvre design essential.

AFP Air Tech Ltd's DWL Exterior Dynamic Weather Louvre complements the SHX-UN universal pressure relief vents offering superior wind and weather protection without restricting the internal vents Free Vent Area (FVA). The DWL provides about twice the free vent area of fixed vane weather louvres used as standard within the HVAC market. Accordingly, specifying DWL can halve the number of units needed to deliver the required performance.
