Harrington Builders are often asked about this home improvement project so we thought you may like more information on what we created which included structural alterations to the main property, an extension, and a new kitchen.
This project brief was to create a large kitchen/dining/relaxing room for the family, which was modern, light, and included top-of-the-range features for a streamlined, yet warm and inviting space.
Our first step in the project was to remove an existing conservatory, an internal and external wall, and kitchen. Then we set to building a new extension that included the best quality materials to create a fabulous open-plan space.
The extension has two sets of Sunflex Bi-Fold doors and electric Velux windows. We included underfloor heating to all the space, LED ceiling and ambient lighting, a Masterclass of London kitchen with Neff appliances, a ceiling-mounted extractor fan, Silestone worktops, and all new Rehau windows and a composite side door. We knocked through into the utility room and fitted an Eclisse glass pocket door to save space and let more light through.
